  • The servings are big! The two of us ordered tofu hot pot and half fried chicken. Although I was famished because I not taken nourishment six hours after a sandwich, I and my companion could not finish the two dishes. The tasteless tofu went along well with the savory sauce and the vegetables. The fried chicken was meaty, well-cooked and was full of flavor. The place was cool even though it was sweltering outside.

  • Cameron, yang chao and beef brocolli.. Took about the 20mins...but it may mean that it is being freshly cooked from the start since we came in 11am on a weekend. Overall fresh and yummy. Just right taste. I did not like the chili though.... But maybe it's just me. Food is ok without it.

  • If there is a Chinese restaurant that could make me eat lots of Yang Chow and Chami, its none other than Lido Cocina Tsina. My family and I is a frequent diner of their Mindanao Avenue branch for breakfast. However, I got the chance to level up my Lido experience by being able to taste some of their best sellers together with some good friends who also love to eat. We had a lot but let me highlight the following dishes in my review: 1. Shrimp Foo-Yong - this one in particular is new not just in my eyes but also in my taste palette. I love shrimps but them being combined with egg and rice with a really good sauce, there was a burst of texture and flavors in my mouth. I cannot help but make sure to go and bring my family and make them taste this dish. 2. Yang Chow - what a treat! The serving of their Yang Chow is really big and generous. Not just in terms of the rice but also the ingredients that goes with it -- lots of shrimp, meat and vegetables too. There is a crisp on the carrots, saltiness (not too much) and meaty. 3. Chami Special - it reminds me of Udon because of the noodles they use but if you eat the dish itself, I appreciate that its really saucy (sweet and also a kick of soy) also the crunch whenever I munch the vegetables. I am sure that kids would love this dish. 4. Spareribs in Salt and Pepper - I am not a fan of Salt and Pepper 'coz honestly some restaurants serve this particular dish in a very mediocre way wherein you cannot enjoy chunks of meat already. Its like eating bones but Lido's was very different. 5. Lumpiang Shanghai - Lido's Shanghai is really rich in meat so, if you are not a fan of too much vegetables on your Lumpia, visit Lido and order for your group then. I am personally not a fan of the dish itself due to preference but I would eat if its included in the order. Other dishes I got to try: Manchurian Wings, Pugon Roasted Asado, Chunky Pork Siomai, Buchi, their Local Blend Coffee (available both hot and iced) and Pandesal (which I should try with the Asado next time!) To conclude my visit, I love how each dish in Lido is -- you will get a distinct taste that will make you eat more and not to mention, the flavors are rich. You get what you pay for, and to be honest more than what you pay for. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes.

  • I highly recommend Lido Cocina Tsina. If you're craving for Chinese cuisine definitely this is the place for you. The foods are delicious especially the spare ribs salt and pepper, siomai and drunken lechon Macau. The staffs are very accomodating and friendly.
